Schooldays
My first school was Kingskerswell Primary School,
when I was around seven years old, my family
moved to Exeter where I attended Ladysmith Junior
School and later Vincent Thompson High School, now
St Lukes High School
I represented my school at Netball and High Jump.
Probably my most memorable event during my schooling
was giving birth to my oldest daughter Kerri-Lee.
Not an easy time for me, I remember particularly the
support given to me by some of the teachers, most
notably Mrs White and Mrs Butt.
The two photos are of Ladysmith School (top)
and Vincent Thompson High School (later St
Lukes High School). Both are currently (2004)
being rebuilt, St Lukes at a different location.
The old buildings are to be pulled down.
Below are two pictures, the first of my year 4
class at Vincent Thompson and the second of the
Ladysmith School netball team.
